Since the Houston Metro Area is only a short 50 miles from the coast, it is no wonder that it is known for being hot and humid. While this may be great for gardens, it certainly does not make a comfortable indoor situation in the hottest parts of the summer in the absence of air conditioning. When temperatures rise to over 100 degrees Fahrenheit, the indoors can be even hotter. Morrow Mechanical will make sure your home air conditioning system is working at peak efficiency even during the hottest days of the year. We give you peace of mind in keeping your home comfortable and safe.

The Importance of HVAC Maintenance and Repair
No one expects an athlete to be able to perform without the proper training schedule, equipment, and diet. No one expects a car to work without gasoline, oil changes, and tire checks. Therefore, no one should expect an HVAC system to work without AC maintenance services. It is the backbone of a comfortable home and cannot be neglected.
As an air conditioning contractor, Morrow Mechanical has highly-trained, background-checked, and certified technicians to perform an AC tune-up at minimal inconvenience to you. Here are a few of the tasks that might need to be done:
- Filter Replacement
- Fin Straightening
- Coil Cleaning and Inspection
- Thermostat Inspection
- Fan Inspection
- Debris Removal
- Drain pan inspection
- Wire Tightening
- Belt Inspection and Tightening
If there is an issue with any of these parts, a repair may need to be done. Before our techs call the job done, they will verify that your central air conditioning system is in excellent working order.
Air Conditioning Installation Services
What if your HVAC unit is 15 years old or older? This may be a time to look not at central AC repair, but at AC replacement. An aging unit is a ticking time bomb for a breakdown and will get to a point that it is in constant need of repairs and parts will be difficult to find. There will actually be money savings in a complete replacement.
Perhaps you have an older home that has relied on window units for air conditioning, and you feel it is time to modernize. Morrow Mechanical does full central AC installation and is an authorized Lennox dealer. Our technicians will look over your home and come up with the best options for your living space. Our company has been serving Harris County for more than 20 years, so take advantage of our experience.
Looking to save on your new unit? Be sure to ask about our financing options to make your new system more affordable than ever.
Ductwork and Insulation
Even if your HVAC unit is functioning at peak efficiency, there are other factors that may contribute to uneven temperatures throughout the home and higher cooling costs. Damage to ductwork and poor insulation can be contributing factors. Morrow Mechanical provides duct repair and replacement as well as attic insulation. Here are just a few of the benefits:
- Lower Energy Costs: If the cool air does not leak out of the ducts, the AC doesn’t have to work as hard to cool the home.
- Comfort Throughout the Home: The home will be at your choice of “room temperature” no matter where you are in the house.
- Peace of Mind: You will know that you have gotten top-notch work done for an honest price.
